Cured in Place Pipe Lining Made in the USA
The US water, stormwater and sanitary sewer infrastructure is deteriorating badly. As these piping systems approach a critical point, it becomes essential to find the best solutions for renewing their functionality and dependability before actual failure occurs.
Over the past three decades, one key technology—cured-in-place pipe or CIPP—has proven to be a superior, less disruptive and more cost-effective alternative to the traditional “dig-and-replace” approach to fixing pipeline problems and avoiding the multitude of problems that occur in a community when culverts collapse or sewers overflow.
Pierson Construction installs cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) to repair deteriorated or damaged pipes and water distribution pipeline systems. Pierson has teamed with America's premier UV Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Fiberglass Liner System - StreamLiner UV™ to install proven trenchless technologies that help you reduce problems associated with infiltration, leakage and deteriorating water, sanitary and storm sewer infrastructure, with minimal surface disruption.

installation

LightStream, LP’s fiberglass cured in place pipe lining system takes one third the set up time of felt CIPP and breaks down in minutes, not hours.
The pipe lining and curing process begins with the pipeline bypassed and the upstream manhole plugged. The pipe is then cleaned and a robotic camera is run through the pipe taking video footage of the entire length noting any issues that may need to be addressed before the lining is installed. A rope is pulled into the pipe during the video process with the camera itself.
